The JLG 340 AJ is a compact, engine-powered articulating boom made for tight jobsites. It delivers 12.33 m working height with 10.31 m platform height, 6.06 m horizontal reach, and a full 227 kg capacity in a short, light package that still climbs 45 % grades. Steel hoods, simple service points, and proportional controls keep it working, not waiting.

Small footprint with zero-tailswing, 1.93 m width, 5.52 m length, about 2.0 m height, easy to position indoors or in courtyards.

Strong up-and-over: 5.17 m clearance with a 1.22 m jib for reaching over canopies and pipe racks.

Overview

Where a 45 ft class boom is too much, 340 AJ threads through scaffolds and courtyards, then reaches over parapets and racks. Zero tailswing reduces setup moves and keeps you productive.
