The event follows four completed Makana auctions in the company’s first year. During that year, Makana sold 100 machines to buyers in 9 countries, while 314 machines worth more than AED 60 million were consigned through the platform.

The October line-up ranges from compact Bobcat and Cat mini excavators to JCB telehandlers, Cat dozers, and large Komatsu excavators. Bidding takes place online, while machines can be reviewed using Makana’s inspection tools or viewed in person at the Jebel Ali Free Zone showroom in Dubai.

Machinery Auction 05 opens October 1 in Dubai

Bidding opens on October 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM Dubai time and closes on October 5 at 4:00 PM.

The auction is 100% online and includes both unreserved lots and selected lots requiring seller approval. Buyers can review inspection information before bidding and inspect the machines in person in Jebel Ali. The October line-up currently includes:

Three Bobcat S510 skid steers for sale at Dubai online auction

Each weighs about 2.7 tons, keeping the S510 in a compact class for loading, site preparation, landscaping, material movement, and work where a larger loader would be difficult to position.

Bobcat buyers can also bid on a 2022 Bobcat E17 mini excavator. The E17 weighs about 2 tons, digs to roughly 2.3 m, and uses a retractable undercarriage that suits trenching, landscaping, utility work, and other tight-access jobs.

Its starting bid is USD 3,700, making it one of the lowest starting prices among the earthmoving machines in Auction 05.

The mini excavator line-up also includes a 2.7-ton Kubota U27-4 and a 3.3-ton Cat 303E, both starting at USD 7,000.

Komatsu excavators from PC350 to PC850 for bidding

Four Komatsu excavators cover the heavier end of the excavator auction line-up, ranging from a 35-ton PC350 to an 85-ton long boom PC850.

Komatsu PC350 starts at USD 29,000. At 35 tons, it is the smallest of the four Komatsu machines but still sits firmly in the heavier excavation class.

Step up to the PC400-8 and operating weight rises to around 43 tons, with bidding starting at USD 45,000.

For buyers needing a much larger production excavator, the PC850 large excavator weighs about 80 tons and starts at USD 57,000.

Standard and long boom PC850 models

Two PC850 configurations give buyers very different working ranges. The standard PC850 is built around heavy excavation and production work, while the PC850-8R1 long boom excavator uses a 16 m boom and 12 m stick for a maximum digging reach of about 26 m.
