Used Komatsu D155A-6 40-ton crawler dozers for sale

The Komatsu D155A-6 is a 40-ton-class crawler dozer designed for bulk earthmoving, quarry work, road construction, land clearing, large site preparation, stockpile management, and heavy ripping.

Makana’s 2018 D155A-6 weighs approximately 41.7 tons and uses a 15.24 L Komatsu SAA6D140E-5 six-cylinder turbo diesel engine producing 354 hp net, providing the power required for sustained production dozing.

Buy Komatsu D155A-6 dozers with 9.4 m³ Semi-U blade

The D155A-6 comes with a 9.4 m³ Semi-U blade measuring approximately 4.13 m wide.

The Semi-U profile combines strong penetration with side wings that help retain material during each push, making the machine suitable for overburden, soil, aggregate, fill, and other bulk materials found on quarries and major earthmoving projects.

Why choose a Komatsu D155A-6?

Makana’s machine is fitted with a variable single-shank giant ripper. The hydraulically adjustable ripper angle helps the shank penetrate compacted soil, weathered rock, and hard layers before the material is pushed or excavated.

Komatsu specifies a maximum ripper digging depth of approximately 1.37 m, giving the D155A-6 useful ground-breaking capability for demanding site conditions.

Komatsu 354 hp dozer for heavy pushing and ripping

The D155A-6 uses Komatsu’s automatic TORQFLOW transmission, combining a torque converter with a planetary powershift transmission for heavy pushing and repeated directional changes.

Maximum travel speed reaches approximately 11.4 km/h forward and 13.7 km/h reverse. Standard 560 mm single-grouser tracks provide a firm footprint for quarry and infrastructure work, while the 625 L fuel tank supports extended production shifts.
