Used Komatsu D155A-6R 40-ton crawler dozers for sale

The Komatsu D155A-6R is a 40-ton-class crawler dozer designed for bulk earthmoving, quarry work, land clearing, road construction, site preparation, stockpile management, and heavy ripping.

Makana’s 2018 D155A-6R machines weigh approximately 41.7 tons and use the Komatsu SAA6D140E-5 turbocharged diesel engine producing 354 hp net, giving the dozer the power required for sustained pushing and ripping work.

Buy Komatsu D155A-6R dozers with 9.4 m³ Semi-U blade

The D155A-6R uses a 9.4 m³ Semi-U blade, combining the penetration characteristics of a straight blade with short side wings that help retain more material during each push.

The blade measures approximately 4.13 m wide, making the machine suitable for moving soil, fill, aggregate, overburden, and other bulk materials across construction, quarry, and infrastructure sites.

Why choose a Komatsu D155A-6R?

Makana’s units are equipped with a single-shank ripper, providing the rear penetration force needed to loosen compacted soil, hard ground, weathered rock, and other material before dozing or excavation.

Komatsu’s low-drive undercarriage keeps a long section of track in contact with the ground, supporting traction and stability during heavy pushing operations.

Komatsu 354 hp dozer for bulk earthmoving and ripping

The D155A-6R uses an automatic TORQFLOW transmission with torque converter, with automatic and manual gearshift modes to suit general dozing or demanding ripping work.

Maximum forward speed reaches approximately 11.4 km/h, while the 625 L fuel tank supports long production shifts on large sites.

The combination of 354 hp, 41.7-ton operating weight, 9.4 m³ blade, and rear ripper makes the D155A-6R particularly relevant to road formation, quarry support, land reclamation, large pads, and bulk earthworks.
