All bids are binding and final.
Winning bids are subject to a Makana platform fee of 3% or $750, plus a $275 documentation and handling fee. 5% VAT will also apply in accordance with applicable UAE tax regulations.
If you win, the full invoice must be paid within 5 working days. Accepted payment methods include cheque, bank/wire transfer, cash in person, and credit card, with a 2.2% transaction fee applying to credit card payments.
Won lots must be removed from the auction showroom within 15 days. After this period, a storage fee of $35 per day, per lot will apply.
Failure to pay may result in the bidder’s deposit being captured. Where no deposit was made, such as registrations completed by credit card, Makana may charge 10% to the card used for registration.
Failure to complete payment may also result in legal action for the full amount and suspension from future Makana auctions.
If the winning bidder fails to complete the purchase, Makana may award the lot to the second-highest bidder, who will then be required to complete the purchase under the auction terms.

Payment needs to be made in full within 5 days from checkout, including applicable taxes and fees to avoid late fees.
