Komatsu PC400-8 Large excavators 2016 LEX-005

This used 2016 Komatsu PC400-8 is a 42.8-ton large tracked excavator in the 40-ton class, built for bulk earthmoving, heavy digging, truck loading, and production excavation where bucket size, digging reach, and machine stability matter. It comes with a 2.8 m³ excavation bucket measuring 1,600 mm wide, along with a 7.06 m boom and 3.38 m stick, giving it a practical setup for mass excavation, material loading, and heavier site work. The front-end geometry delivers a 7.82 m digging depth and 7.07 m dump height for deep cut and loading duties.

This Japan-made machine is powered by a Komatsu SAA6D125E 6-cylinder 11.0-liter turbo diesel engine rated at 352 hp (263 kW) and meeting Tier 3 emissions standards. It also comes with 700 mm triple grouser shoes, a 650 L fuel tank, auxiliary hydraulic plumbing for a range of attachment uses, and a ROPS cab with front guardrail for added operator protection on tougher jobs.
