Used Sinoboom AB15J 17 m boom lifts for sale

The Sinoboom AB15J is a 17 m diesel articulated boom lift designed for construction, façade work, steel structures, industrial maintenance, MEP installation, and other access jobs where operators need to reach both upward and over obstacles.

Maximum working height reaches approximately 16.7 m, while horizontal outreach extends to around 8.5 m. Its articulated boom also provides about 7.2 m of up-and-over clearance, allowing the platform to rise above structures before reaching across them.

The AB15J provides a 250 kg platform capacity for up to two people with tools within the rated limits.

Unlike a straight telescopic boom, its articulated design can work around walls, steelwork, machinery, pipework, and other obstacles. This makes it particularly useful for façade installation, warehouse exteriors, industrial plants, and construction sites with restricted direct access.

Why choose a Sinoboom AB15J?

Makana’s AB15J uses a 47 hp Yanmar diesel engine with 4WD and 2-wheel steering, providing useful mobility for outdoor construction and industrial work.

The turntable rotates approximately 355°, while the platform rotates around 160°, helping operators adjust their position around the work area without repeatedly moving the chassis.

The 4WD configuration provides around 40% gradeability, while the machine can travel at approximately 5 km/h when stowed.

At roughly 7.3 tons operating weight, the AB15J remains considerably more compact than very large high-reach boom lifts while still providing almost 17 m of working height and useful over-obstacle access.
