The JLG 460SJ is a 16 m diesel telescopic boom lift for buyers who need elevated access with substantial horizontal reach for construction, industrial maintenance, steelwork, cladding, and installation projects.

The boom provides approximately 12.5 m of horizontal outreach, allowing operators to work beyond obstacles and reach areas that cannot be accessed by a vertical scissor lift.

Platform capacity is 272 kg, providing space for personnel, tools, and materials within the unrestricted working envelope.

The platform rotates through 180°, while the boom structure provides continuous 360° swing, giving operators greater flexibility when working around façades, structures, machinery, and other obstacles.

Why bid on a JLG 460SJ?

The 460SJ combines a diesel engine with 4WD, an oscillating axle, and around 45% gradeability, making it suitable for construction sites and outdoor industrial areas where surfaces may be uneven.

This rough-terrain capability distinguishes it from electric slab lifts designed mainly for smooth indoor floors.

The 460SJ is well suited to structural steel, façades, roofing, industrial plants, mechanical installation, maintenance, and large construction projects.

Its roughly 16 m working height and 12.5 m outreach are particularly useful when technicians need to approach a work point from the side rather than directly underneath it.
